This unique fish trivet adds a coastal vibe to your kitchen, whilst protecting your surfaces from hot pots and pans. Held together with rope, the fish are made from sustainably sourced cork that has been smoked with light ink. The smoking process enhances the natural pattern of the cork and gives it a stunning marbled appearance as the cork is smoked with light amounts of ink. Place it in the centre of your dining table to prevent heat damage when serving oven-to-table dishes like lasagne and seafood paella.

LIGAs cork comes from Portugal, where the cork oak forests offset ten million tonnes of carbon every year. It is harvested naturally, without harming the tree, and the cork continues to absorb carbon dioxide even after it is transformed into tableware. The pattern and colour varies from item to item – each one is unique.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
